CYCO-GEL ®
Product:
A novel proprietary naphthenic-based liquid aluminium acylate product designed to provide superior processing control in the production of printing ink varnishes.

Application / Use:
CYCO-GEL ® is formulated to maximize yield values at optimal viscosities in gelled varnishes.
OAO
Product: Oxyaluminium octoate
Recommended as a superior gelling agent for increasing the viscosity of ink varnishes without increasing tack. Yields improved gloss.
Description: OAO is a yellow, viscous liquid, soluble in the usual ink solvents.
Aluminium Content: 8.0 - 8.8%
May be used in same manner as AIE-M and other aluminium alkoxides (described in Technical Data Bulletin TDA-2).
Flash Point: 1330 F, TCC Method.
OAO-HT
Product: A unique reactive aluminium octoate product for use in varnish gelling applications and gelling of certain paraffinic oils.

Application / Use:
OAO-HT is a modified oxyaluminiuim octoate designed to be added, undiluted, to hot vehicles without causing seeding. OAO-HT can be used as a primary gellant or with other compatible gel agents for gel control or post-add adjuster. OAO-HT is recommended as a superior gellant for adjusting the viscosity of printing inks and ink vehicles without increasing tack.
AIE-M
Product: Aluminium Diisopropoxide Acetoacetic Ester Chelate
Properties: Straw colored liquid.
Soluble in hydrocarbon-type solvents.
Approximate Density: 8.6 lbs/gal.
Flash Point: 122o F, PMCC Method.
KETALIN ® - 4F
Product: A novel, highly reactive, chelated aluminium alcoholate designed for extensive viscosity development in alkyd systems.

Application / Use:
KETALIN ® - 4F is designed for use in thickening alkyd ink formulations where extensive viscosity development and "shortness" in the gelled product is desired. KETALIN ® - 4F, like the other KETALIN ® products, shows highly superior stability to humidity and air exposure and, based on similar aluminium content, a higher reactivity than other aluminium gellants. KETALIN ® - 4F can be used as an adjusting agent, supplanting the use of other additives.
