QUALITY |
 |
|
All pigments are tested gainst the physical standards using the specified test procedure. Colour difference limits for full shade and tint are normally set at ^E , 1 (D65 illuminant, 100 observer, CIELAB equation).
Cadmium pigments comply with Council of Europe Resolution AP 89(1) covering pigments for food-contanct plastics. The limit for extractable cadmium is set at 0.01%: JMB pigmenys are normally < 0.001% Cd.
The use of pigmentsin toys is controlled in the European Union by EN 71 part 3. This sets limits for certain extractable metals from the finished toy. The use of JMB cadmium pigments should not cause any problems but customers should see our information sheet on this subjects.
Cadmium pigments comply with current USA "TCPL" limits for leachable cadmium and are therefore not classed as hazardous waste.
